Ghostbusters trailer review

I get it now! The movies that were cool for me growing up, shouldn’t be cool for me when I’m all grown up. Geek culture is big now, but it’s clear that the purchase power is with the mainstream movie goers I don’t dislike this trailer, I like it, I think the movie will be funny as hell even though it won’t be Original Ghostbusters funny (whatever that means to the next person). This is along the lines of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows, it’s clearly for a newer audience that’s not bothered by the integrity of the material, but the entertainment value on screen.

If Hollywood remakes Back To Future, it should be expected that it’s for newer movie goers that don’t care about what we did back in the day.

This trailer for Ghostbusters looks good. It’s funny in its own way. It comes off very “plastic” and superficial at the same time. Clearly these 80’s franchises weren’t meant to grow up with their audience.

Thank you Tinsel Town for sticking it to me. As Deadpool said “right up Main Street”.

What do you think of the trailer, love it hate it let us know in the comments below.
